Today I have to start with the spring cleaning. No more excuses. No more sitting back and just looking at the mess in the living room. What does it consist of? Debris from as far back as 1996, and it’s up to me to get it cleaned out so I know what is thrown away vs. what I have a feeling Dennis will throw away (everything). I would like to keep my picture books, some of the Beanie Babies people gave me, and, if possible, my old printer and scanner and keyboard that work. I have a canister of floppies under that desk too that I plan on cleaning out, putting the information onto a CD or CDs and then throwing away the floppies. Do people still use floppies anymore? I know with the OS I use, floppy drives aren’t even manufactured anymore, and I don’t plan on changing OSes anytime soon, so there’s no reason for me to keep that stuff.
I hate getting rid of notes and little trinkets from high school and the early days of college, but Dennis says we have to clean up and clean out that space. He wanted me to go through everything here and throw out things I hadn’t used in over a year. He thinks that if we don’t use something in a year we’ll never use it. I don’t know if I agree with that.
Before I go, there’s something wrong with Nuclear Winter. Read about it and offer some help. Please?
