Ebay Drama

I know that I promised no drama on here, but I just have to vent. I have to. If you don’t want to read my vent, feel free to read and look at some pictures I posted earlier today.

Everyone who pays attention knows that I put this nice, red notice on my eBay profile:

If you need to email me, please use the email sent with my PayPal when I paid for my order. I do not regularly check my email associated with my account. Thank you!

It’s true. I don’t check that email address unless I’m in an auction. Then I leave myself logged in and everything, for days at a time. When I was away on my trip, I ordered my daughter some little dolly play set for her dolls, for her elementary school graduation. She’s nine years old and in the fourth grade. Next year she’s going to be in the “intermediate” building with all the big kids. This seems like my last chance to have some time with my “little” girl. Ok, the stuff came in and I wrapped it then I hid it in the closet for her graduation next month. Everything I won came in, so I stopped checking my eBay email. No sense, right? I wasn’t waiting on anything and it’s basically just a spam catcher anyway.

It seems like the woman who sent me the play set accidentally sent another shipment in with my daughter’s. This seller ignored my message in my profile to simply log in and check her PayPal then email me at that address. That email address’s mail is downloaded to my Thunderbird because it’s on my site. I use different email address for safety reasons and I have a third for communication through this site as well as a fourth for family members who might be Google-crazy and search for my address. For the last few weeks, this seller has been messaging me like crazy, to my hotmail address associated with my eBay account, despite what I asked of people in my profile. Just to be sure she had always emailed that account, I asked Dennis if I had any email come in while I was sick. He said no, not from eBay, and he had given me all the email that came in.

Yes, I have been ill. I had some problems while I was out of state that I associated with a kidney stone and it’s turned into something more serious. I went to a doctor on April 1st, and he wants me to have a CT and see a urologist. When I am not doing something for my classes, I am doing for my family and last sleeping. I am on a high dose of pain medicine because the pain is that bad. To top this all off, this woman reports me and calls me a thief.

When I first got her email, I thought she was complaining that I did not pay her. Angry, I logged into my PayPal account and sent her the transaction ID. She emailed me back and said that I was a “dumb shit” and could not read–she accidentally sent me more than I bargained for. Ok. I emailed her back and said, “Send me your mailing address and I will take care of this. Keep your money. I will scan you the receipt from the post office as proof that I did mail it. As for people being unable to read, why are you emailing me at an address that I asked my buyers and sellers not to email me at? My notice is in bright, blue, bold font on my eBay page. Your’s was mingled in an email where the font is all the same size. Don’t apologise either. I don’t want to hear it.

Do you know what is funny? For Valentine’s Day, Dennis ordered me a Tiffany’s necklace off eBay, the seller dicked around until March and then said the post office sent it back. By then, Dennis had asked for a refund, and while we were out of state, the necklace came in and the seller demanded their money. I’m starting to think there’s a huge conspiracy on eBay.

I hope this is resolved soon. I am going to send this woman’s stuff back Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. I think it would be best that I stay away from eBay and the Amazon.com market place.
