Stupid Question

I have a really stupid question to ask the geniuses who frequent my blog. Ok, I know it’s more that you all are entertainment freaks and you know what’s good. So here goes:
Should I rent/buy the Twilight movie? I’ve never seen it, never read the books. I was a day late and dollar short with the Harry Potter craze a few years back, but this is one that I’m willing to try early on.
Also, regarding Harry Potter, back in 2007, I bought the final book. While I did read the last page, I never read the entire book. Is it worth it? I need some advice here. =)

    I wouldn’t bother if you didn’t read the book. Wait til it comes out on tv which will be soon.

    I haven’t read Twilight either though I do want to. Stephen King insulted the author pretty bad claiming she couldn’t write. *ouch* I love Stephen King so I have to say it has affected my desire to go out and buy the books. As for Harry Potter? Well I did read all of those. Multiple times…and I love them. The last book is really good. Since they are making it into two movies it might be good to go ahead and read it. I find I have a better understanding of the story if I’ve read the books.

    If you enjoy reading, start again from the first Harry Potter book and read them all. If not, you already know the ending so why bother! Loved all the books.
    Can’t say about Twilight – don’t know it.
