Cliche Entry

I went to take the trash out, one little 13 galleon bag of trash, and I was too lazy to put my shoes on, or even pants. I turned the outside light out, thinking I’d just race to the curb with the trash, and sneak back in. No one would be the wiser. Easier said than done. I went out, turned out the light, hurried to the curb, dropped the bag of trash, and was hurrying back to the house when I noticed there was someone in the neighbor’s SUV parked in the street. My undies were slipping. I stumbled up the steps to the house, and tried to open the door, but it was locked! I rattled the door knob, and then knocked. Now I’m mooning the neighbors in the darkness. Only they can’t see me. Dennis asked “Who is it?” from the other side of the door. “It’s me! You know it’s me! Let me in!” I replied.

What does he do? He turns on the outside light! I heard the neighbors gasp from all the way across the street. “Hurry up!” I cried. “What?” he asked. “HURRY UP!!!” I yelled. He opened the door. “What were you doing out there…?” he began. I raced inside as he shut the door. “Very funny,” I replied. I hope the neighbors took a picture. It lasts longer.
