That date up there isn’t a typo.
It’s the name of the playlist we’re doing tonight on the radio show. It started at 8:15pm Central time, and I don’t know for sure when it will stop. We’re on the second song right now. It’s a memorial show to someone very special in the family who passed away a little over a year ago today. Today is his birthday. There’s a very special 21st birthday party going on in heaven tonight. I’d like to think there is, anyway.
Besides the playlist, we’re also going to play the entire album called The Suffering–get it free tonight!
Tonight isn’t a time for tears. It’s a celebration of a life that was lived in happiness despite the sadness and the pain. It’s not a sorrowful tale of death. We’re all sharing memories and pictures along with the music.
Our playlist is as follows:
Baby I’m A Want You Bread
The Suffering Jess B.
Eternal Flame The Bangles
Carry On Dancing Savage Garden
Crash and Burn Savage Garden
Drops of Jupiter Train
Avenging Annie Roger Daltrey
Take Me Home Tonight Eddie Money
To The Moon and Back Savage Garden
Second Chance 38 Special
The Horses Daryl Braithwaite

Mayonaise (acoustic) Smashing Pumpkins
The Best Thing Savage Garden
Affirmation Savage Garden
D’yer Mak’er Led Zepplin
Untitled Smashing Pumpkins
I Want You Savage Garden

It’s going to be good. We’re already on #4.
I must be smiling so much because of the pain medicines.
