Already Shopping
Dennis and I sat down and did some math last night. We’re going to commit the Ultimate Child Abuse Act and buy Chloe clothes for Christmas this year, in addition to the other things we’re getting her. Totally a few new outfits, a backpack for pre-school, a denim hobo, a green iPod mini, and a few toys, her entire Christmas budget comes to $255.
I think we did pretty good, considering that just five years ago, the going iPod Mini was $250+ shipping.
I’m not sure that she’s old enough to have an iPod of any kind. I was wary of getting her sister one last year, and her sister was eight. Twice her age. I guess that since Chloe isn’t destructive, it can’t hurt. We’re going to start shopping in October, but it’s good to know what she is getting now, so we can plan our shopping trips. The first big shopping trip is going to be right after our 19th Anniversary.
Love is in the air. I always love this time of year, when the weather cools off, the world is slowing down, the days are shorter. The only down side is we seem to have a lot of ice storms lately. That’s never good. I can’t drive on ice. heh. Not sober any way.
In the site news, I’m attempting to upload my old archives, though I can’t seem to find them.
I know I archived nuclear-winter.nu somewhere, I just don’t know where. I’m still digging through archived CDs, so bear with me, ok? I have an exam tomorrow in a subject that I know I won’t pass. Bleh. Why do we have to have exams? Don’t they trust us to remember what the teacher screams at us all the time?
Wish me well. The pain has subsided a little. I can function somewhat during the day.

Wow.. that’s a great Christmas budget. My son is about to be 10, and I’m trying to get away with a budget of less than $1000. It makes me sick, lol.
I used to read your old website, hopefully you can find your archives.
