Update
I got Dr. Wyatt at the AH clinic. I love him as a doctor. He’s one of those Harley-riding rednecks that loves people. If that’s believable.
The good news: No breaks! I have a pulled muscle. The ‘snap’ I heard was just the ankle popping that happens from time to time. No cast for me.
The bad news: I have to go in on Tuesday for blood work because Dr. Wyatt thinks that I may have another problem. Liver trouble. I’m always a barrel full of good news, aren’t I?
I threw up twice on the ride to the AH clinic. Ron’s driving isn’t the best when he’s calm and tonight he was anything but calm. He literally carried me to his car and then he missed the first exit, then we ended up lost in Lotsee. Oh fun times. ![]()
While Ron is caring for my kids (aren’t I a great mom? I pawn my kids off on my childfree/childless friends all the time to make sure they made the right choice in not reproducing…), I have to add something about the Christmas budget. It was my money for a new MacBook Pro. Rather than have a brand new computer that is super-fast and ultra modern (not to mention up to date) I am opting to throw my kids the best Christmas yet. Real tree. Stick-on glitter. New wrapping paper. Everything they ask Santa for. It’s probably the one and only time that I’ll be able to do this and I don’t want to wait. A few years ago, I said I’d wait a little while longer for the ‘perfect time’ and then Pogo died in May, so she didn’t get that ‘perfect Christmas’. It made me so sad because she really told me last year that it was ok to not have a perfect Christmas and that she still loved me. She may not have had a perfect Christmas, but I had the perfect daughter.
Ok, I’m going to try to get some sleep (I’ve been awake since 5am), before I start crying here.
