I bought some new Chucks today:
Ignore the dirty underwear and unmade bed.


I also found some of that Pepsi Throwback at the store, and bought a case. Within a few minutes of drinking one can, I had heart burn again. Which makes me conclude that caffeine is the cause of my heart burn. I hadn’t had any since I stopped drinking caffeine because I don’t have my medication anymore. We’re waiting to get it filled for a few days. I don’t think that’s a good idea since I have chest pains to accompany the heart burn and I can’t sleep most nights.
*sigh*
Such is life.
Monday I head back to school for my last semester. After these next sixteen weeks, I’ll be free. Free forever. I’ll have a PhD in bio-medicine (pharmacology) and able to go back to my old job. Though I don’t know if I want to go back there or not. I almost want to go back to nursing. Right now I just want my own money. I want to be able to buy things that I need or that the kids need, without having to go through a drama fit. I know Dennis wants to save money, but having us go without toothbrushes and laundry detergent because the dollar store doesn’t sell any detergent that Darren isn’t allergic to or because they don’t sell kids’ toothbrushes regularly, is absurd. I’m not the only one heading back to school on Monday. Darren also goes back to school and Chloe still has a dentist appointment tomorrow. Dennis’ rational for that is the kids’ don’t have permanent teeth yet, so brushing isn’t important right now. I think it is because it starts them on healthy habits. But what do I know?
