Advice Please?

Just a little blurb that I discovered today.

Dennis’ Seconal pill bottle–the one with 99 refills at 30 pills per refill–was in the refill basket today.

He’s taken thirty pills in twelve days. And he wants more. And if I don’t refill them tonight at an all-night pharmacy, he’ll gladly do it on his way to the studio.

Tell me he doesn’t have a problem.

While you’re at it, tell me everything will be ok.

    I don’t understand why the pharmacy refills them if it’s too soon…I have to wait EXACTLY 28 days before I can get my script, it’s tincture of opium…slows the intestines, I only have half left.

    It doesn’t seem like there’s much you can do, and yeah I know how powerless you feel when you can’t do a thing. It sucks.
    I’ve been reading your blog since before your daughter passed away. I send healing prayers your way, don’t know if it helps, but it can’t hurt.

    Everything will be ok. I was assured by my Son, a former pillpopper, that to be so. He said that wasn’t so many pills. However, he wasn’t sure what Seconal was? Must not be a pill of choice, with our youth, these days.

    have you called his doctor to tell them how quickly he is going through the pills ? and if not maybe his job ? someone needs to make him pay attention because he is ignoring you. this may not be good and in the longrun could end up destroying him and your relationship. yes dear, Drugs Kill.

    please tell me he does not operate a vehicle or interact with machinery in his job ?

    He’s an artist. The most heavy machinery he operates is a mechanical pencil. He gets to ‘work’ via a carpool, usually driven by the competent people of this group.
