Data Fail

When my husband gave me his guitarist’s old laptop (ok–it’s a year old MacBook Pro, still with warranty), he transferred all my iTunes files over to it, then my iPhoto files, and set it up for me. I was wooed. I was even more surprised to see that I had some extra space. Over three more gigs than I started out with! Woo Hoo! Then…it happened. I went in search of the movies I’d transferred to the computer the first day, and guess what? They aren’t here. None of the iTunes movies that I downloaded over the past three years are anywhere to be found. To make matters worse, it was my husband, and not the Mac computer system, that lost the files. His thoughts on this? “Did you really need to watch Saw IV every day?” Yes. Yes I did.

Saw IV isn’t the only movie that’s missing. I lost my Jerry Lewis movies, my Stephen King movies, The Searchers (which I never got to watch) and others, including the Harry Potter movies that I had downloaded before I sold my DVD copies. I had about five movies that I never got around to watching, and I won’t get to now, because they’re gone for good.

When my man fucks up, he really fucks up!

Random question: Is it time for me to put my themes up for free download yet? :)
