Closure?

They hauled my dead car away today. When I say “they” I mean whoever paid $4000 for the parts in it. It was brand-new in 2007, and I’m still dead-set on never having another car again. New or used. I didn’t deal with them clearing it out. I just sat in the kitchen, bagging my defective laptop battery, and waiting for a ride to the Apple store.

On this cloudy spring day, my car has officially gone to Car Heaven. It died if its injuries and an autopsy was performed on it shortly after death. Today its usable ‘organs’ were harvested and the remains put to rest at a junk yard. *tears* That was a bad eulogy.

I have some new bruises pop up. I assume these are from the police kicking me. They weren’t there while I was in the hospital, but my husband saw them last night and freaked out. Normally calm and grateful for what he has, my husband was postal and wanted to kick the ass of the cop who did this to me. To be honest, I don’t remember what really happened at the accident scene, so I told him to ignore it. He won’t do that. I know him well. His dad told me not to tell him anything anymore. Well, that’s a start, right?

Oh, and my navel looks funny because I used to have a piercing there. My mom tore it out when I was 13. She thought it was a fake. It wasn’t. And I now have a sideways navel, with scar tissue where the piercing was. Joy.

I got my new laptop battery today. So I’m going to go enjoy myself and play the Sims 2 or something constructive until dinner time. My man’s making grilled burgers for dinner. Yummers.
