Hair Today

There’s hair everywhere.

I used to complain that the dog shed too much on the furniture and carpets, but for the last couple of days, I have been picking my own locks of hair out from between my toes, my fork, and in the bath tub. I am shedding. I am shedding much more than any dog I have ever owned. In my bed, on the chair, in the tub, in my brush. There’s just hair everywhere. My teeth hurt so fricken bad that I can’t brush them tonight. I hate that, because I was doing so good in keeping the cavities away.

I spent much of the day in bed while Chloe had adventures with Barbie and Fulla and a Mallory Pike doll that I don’t know where she got. I’m behind in my writing, so I may not blog tomorrow. Not that blogging takes oh-so-much out of my daily life. I spend less than thirty minutes a day per post. But it’s the idea that I am putting my writing on the back burner again, and I can’t do that. Not after it took me so long to get caught up. Nick sent me some episodes of a TV show that apparently, I expressed extreme love for when I was with him earlier this month. I remember liking it when I was a kid, but not recently. Plus, he sent me the Halloween episode, and it’s completely edited to pieces. Parts of it don’t make sense anymore. I couldn’t watch the second episode.

So it’s off to bed with me, where I can relax and wait for my medicines to whisk away my memory of the next twelve hours, and I can sleep or stare at the ceiling for the night. It’s a clear night tonight, so I think I will leave the windows open so I can see the night sky. I love watching the stars twinkle and sparkle through the windows. In our other house, we had these huge awnings that prevented the stars from shining in. Here, I can see to Heaven and back. I love it.
